Steam data and affiliation
GameLaunchLab uses public game data from Steam, retrieved through the Steam Web API and Steam's public store pages. GameLaunchLab is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation or Steam. Valve, Steam, and the Steam logo are trademarks of Valve Corporation.
No warranty
All Steam data, and every estimate, range, and verdict derived from it, is provided "as is", "with all faults", and "as available". The entire risk as to quality, performance, and accuracy is with you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GameLaunchLab, Valve, Steam game publishers and developers, and their suppliers make no representations, warranties, or conditions, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, title, and non-infringement, and no warranty of uninterrupted or error-free access.
Sales and revenue figures are public-data approximations, not measured truth. Each one carries its method and a confidence label. Don't rely on them as the only basis for a business decision.
Limitation of liability
In no event will GameLaunchLab, Valve, or any supplier be liable for any damages, including indirect, consequential, special, incidental, or punitive damages, arising out of or related to your use of this service, the Steam data, or the estimates, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. If you are dissatisfied with the service, your sole and exclusive remedy is to stop using it.

What we store:
- Public game data from Steam: names, prices, release dates, tags, and review counts over time, plus the estimates we compute from them.
- Pitches you submit to the evaluator, cached with the generated report so the same pitch returns the same report.
- API keys, stored only as one-way hashes.
We don't ask you to sign in with Steam. We don't collect or store your Steam password, account, profile, library, or any other data about Steam users. We don't use Steam data for marketing messages.
Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon in the United States, and pages are served through Cloudflare's network.
